What CareerFlyt collects, how it is used, and the controls you have over it.

What we collect
Your account details (name and email), the resume you upload and the profile information you approve, the jobs you save, the application materials you generate, and the usage information needed to run your plan. If you use CareerFlyt through an organization, that organization's administrators and coaches can see the information you share with them within the workspace.
How we use it
Only to provide the product: reading your resume, scoring your fit against postings, preparing your application materials, and showing you your own progress. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your resume or application content to train AI models.
AI processing
To prepare your materials, the relevant resume and job text is processed by our AI providers under written data-handling terms. None of them use your content to train their models, and none of them retain it beyond processing your request.
Job postings
Openings shown in CareerFlyt are read from employers' own hiring systems. When you search, only your search terms are sent to job-data sources — never your resume or profile.
Your controls
You can export all of your data and delete all of your data from your account at any time. Nothing is ever submitted to an employer on your behalf; you approve every application yourself.
Retention
Your data is kept while your account is active, or for the shorter period your organization sets. Deleted data is removed from live systems immediately and from backups within 35 days. Full details are on the Data retention page.
